Firefighters are working on putting out a blaze at an oil well site about four miles west of Dickinson at about 12:30 this afternoon.

Firefighters are working on putting out a blaze at an oil well site about four miles west of Dickinson at about 12:30 this afternoon.

The fire is under control, according to the Stark County Sheriff’s Department.

Roughrider Electric was changing meters when a fuze blew and ignited a grass fire, according to the department.

About five acres have been destroyed and there are no injuries.

The Dickinson Rural Fire Department and Stark County Sheriff’s Department are at the scene.
