DSU women’s golf team wins VCSU Invitational

MOORHEAD, Minn. — The Dickinson State women’s golf team won the Valley City State Invitational, held Sunday and Monday at Village Green Golf Course.

MOORHEAD, Minn. — The Dickinson State women’s golf team won the Valley City State Invitational, held Sunday and Monday at Village Green Golf Course.

Unseasonable weather made the play difficult both days. Play was suspended after nine holes Sunday and the teams played 27 holes Monday.

Stef Bohrer, Caitlin Hurlock, Paige Kamminga and Laura Duppong made up DSU’s winning team.

Brian Quintus led the DSU men’s team to a third-place finish. Chandler Pender, Tony Elliot and Austin Harper factored into DSU’s team finish.

VCSU, Jamestown College, Concordia College, Minnesota State Moorhead and Miles Community College attended the tournament.
