Letter: Taylor respects people, land and could help Oil Patch growth
Every time I pick up the daily newspaper I’m worried about what new problem I’m going to read about in the Oil Patch.
Countless miles of roads destroyed, crime, murder, accidental death, prostitution, environmental disaster, polluted roads and farmyards. There doesn’t seem to be an end.
It is all because we are putting oil and greed first, instead of the people and the land. It would be nice to turn back the clock and get things right from the start. With the right leadership, we could have managed the growth in a much smarter way.
We can’t do that, obviously, but what we can do is make sure to elect the right people this November.
Ryan Taylor is a leader who will develop our rich oil supplies wisely and in a way that respects the people and the land.
It will be a critical election for the future of North Dakota. If we elect people like Taylor, maybe we can change some of those stories we’ve been reading about in the newspapers.
