BISMARCK, N.D. (AP) — A man who was shot by Bismarck police after allegedly threatening his girlfriend and officers with a knife has pleaded not guilty to felony terrorizing.

34-year-old Arthur Moses Feather waived his preliminary hearing and went to an arraignment in South Central District Court on Monday.

His trial has been scheduled for May 29.

Feather was shot in the arm on March 16 after he allegedly threatened officers responding to a report that he had assaulted a woman.

Authorities say Feather's criminal history includes assault and escape as well as federal convictions for smuggling people into the country.
