Dickinson chamber to hold Measure 2 forum

The Dickinson Area Chamber of Commerce Governmental Affairs Committee, in partnership with The Dickinson Press, is hosting a public forum on Measure 2.

The forum is 6 p.m. to 7:30 p.m. Thursday at Dickinson City Hall.

Representatives in support and opposition will be present to provide opening and closing remarks and to respond to pre-submitted questions, a press release stated.

Questions should be submitted in writing to the Dickinson Chamber of Commerce or

The Dickinson Press by Wednesday.

Measure 2 is a proposed and controversial constitutional amendment to eliminate property taxes for North Dakotans.
