Dickinson student Brittney Heim, 14, was awarded the title of Teen Miss North Dakota by the Dream Girls USA Pageant Program.
The competition was held April 21 at Fargo.
“I never realized how involved I can be in my community, and I never imagined I could have this wonderful opportunity,” Heim said. “I see myself in a whole new perspective. I hope this is a stepping stone to where I’m off to.”
Heim is the daughter of Clint and Jodee Heim, Dickinson, and an eighth grader at Hagen Junior High.
She also won trophies as Most Photogenic, Best Overall Hair, Cover Model, Casual Runway Model, and runner-up for her community service project. The service project involved a fundraiser at Oreo’s Animal Rescue at Jefferson Elementary.
She will be competing in the Dream Girls USA National Pageant in June at St. Louis.
