Dickinson Press staff took home a number of awards at the North Dakota Newspaper Association convention held Friday and Saturday in Williston.
“It takes a number of dedicated employees to keep The Press a timely, reader-friendly publication that brings community issues to the forefront, shares stories of friends and neighbors and provides general information about our area,” Editor Jennifer McBride said. “The staff should be proud, and though industry recognition is nice, reader feedback is also so important.”
The awards are a reflection of what Dickinson Press employees do day in and day out, Publisher Harvey Brock added.
“What we do is critically important to the communities we serve, providing real-time information that allows our readers to make decisions that affect their daily lives,” Brock said.
The paper received top honor for overall design excellence and took home numerous first, second- and third-place awards.
