Beaudoin, Deibert lead Midgets at Kiwanis Meet

MANDAN — The Dickinson High girls track and field team got a little extra competition, before the season’s end.

Leslie Beaudoin finished fifth the 400-meter and high jump on Saturday at the Kiwanis Meet.

Beaudoin ran a state qualifying time in the 400 at 1 minute, 1.19 seconds and jumped 4 feet, 11 inches in the high jump.

Madison Deibert took third place in the triple jump (33-8), while Abby Grove finished seventh in the javelin (97-8) and Rachel Schroeder eighth in the 400 (1:03.95).

Dickinson ended with 35 points and Bismarck Century won the meet with 271 points. Minot came in runner-up (153) and Mandan rounded out the top three (113).

Dickinson 800 (1:54.7) and 3,200 (10:52.38) relays ran state-qualifying times.
