Letter: Contract post offices could be the answer

I live in Marmarth, located in the extreme southwest corner of

Slope County.

For some years Marmarth has had a contract post office where we can get our mail, stamps, money orders, mail packages, etc.

So, I’m wondering why other rural post offices couldn’t switch to contract post offices instead of closing? Just wondering.
