JAMESTOWN — The Dickinson boys golf team finished fifth with some balanced play Friday at the Jamestown Invitational at Hillcrest Golf Course.
Shay Ridl shot an 8-over-par 80 to lead the Midgets to a 324 team score.
Bismarck Century’s Drew Lingle won a one-hole playoff to beat Bismarck High’s Nick Nuestad for medalist honors. Both players finished 18 holes with a 1-under-par 71.
Lingle helped the Patriots to a team win with 296.
Seniors Austin Fournier (81), Luke Hanel (81) and Tanner Halter (82) factored into Dickinson’s team score. Alex Priebe shot an 83 and Carter Donnan an 86.
“They’re hitting the ball well,” Dickinson coach Sara Berglund said. “One shot might cost them a double. These next tournaments, we’re going to work on actually scoring.”
