Halter shoots 77 for Midgets at Hawktree

BISMARCK — Tanner Halter shot a 77 to finish in a tie for fifth place and the Dickinson High boys golf team finished fourth as a team at the Bismarck St. Mary’s Invitational at Hawktree Golf Club on Friday.

Halter was 5 over par, closing his round with a 35 on the back nine.

The Midgets shot a team score of 329. Austin Fournier (84), Shay Ridl (84) and Luke Hanel (85) contributed to Dickinson’s team scores.

Alex Priebe (89) and Carter Donnan (97) also competed for the Midgets, who play at Tom O’Leary Golf Course today in the Bismarck Century Invitational.
