Midgets qualify 2 for Class A state boys golf tournament

BISMARCK — Dickinson High qualified two seniors for the Class A state boys golf tournament on Saturday at Tom O’Leary Golf Course.

Tanner Halter shot a 5-over-par 74 and Austin Fournier finished with a 77 to lead the Midgets to a fourth-place finish at the Bismarck Century Invitational.

Williston’s B.J. Mahar won tournament medalist with a 1-over 70 while Bismarck High shot a 285 to take the team win by six strokes.

The Midgets host the West Region boys golf tournament on Wednesday at Heart River Golf Course.
