Jirges, Sickler named Trinity athletes of the year

Andrea Jirges and Bradon Sickler were named Dickinson Trinity High School’s Athletes of the Year for the 2011-12 school year.

Andrea Jirges and Brandon Sickler were named Dickinson Trinity High School’s Athletes of the Year for the 2011-12 school year.

Jirges was a five-time letterwinner in track and field and had 26 state-qualifying marks in her career. She holds school records in the 100, 200 and 400 meters and won two state championships as a relay team member.

She was also a three-year letterwinner in basketball and a captain as as a senior. She was a two-year letterwinner in volleyball.

Sickler was a four-year letterwinner in track and field and a three-year letterwinner and senior captain in both basketball and football.

In football, he was a second team Class 2A all-state selection both his junior and senior years. He was named all-West Region both years as well.
