ND ag department has new deputy commissioner
BISMARCK, N.D. (AP) — North Dakota's Agriculture Department has a new second-in-command.
BISMARCK, N.D. (AP) — North Dakota's Agriculture Department has a new second-in-command.
Deputy Agriculture Commissioner Bob Christman (KRIHST'-muhn) is taking six months leave, and Agriculture Commissioner Doug Goehring has appointed Velva farmer Tom Bodine to take his place.
Bodine will oversee the organization of the department and its daily operations.
In addition to farming, Bodine works as a leadership development official with North Dakota Farm Bureau. He also has served on the Velva City Commission and other local boards and commissions.
