Knutson won’t swim at US Olympic Trials

BISMARCK — North Dakota native Dagny Knutson says she will not swim in the U.S. Olympic Trials later this month.

The 20-year-old who was a 16-time state high school champion while at Minot and holds several state and national high school records says a health issue will keep her out of the trials. She isn’t elaborating.

Knutson qualified for the trials in seven events. She trains at the University of Florida.
