A burglary at Enchanted Hideaway Bar in Gladstone is under investigation by the Stark County Sheriff’s Department.

Sheriff Clarence Tuhy said the incident was reported to the sheriff’s department around 10 a.m. Saturday, but it is believed that the break-in occurred late Friday or early Saturday morning.

He said about $500 was reportedly stolen from a tip jar, along with cigarettes and a couple bottles of Mogen David wine.

Tuhy said it is believed that the perpetrators gained entry into the establishment through a back

window.

No one was present at the time of the break-in.

“We’re possibly looking at two individuals who might be connected to this, according to the evidence we’ve got, but it’s still under investigation,” Tuhy said.

He was not sure if there had been previous break-ins at Enchanted Hideaway Bar.
