West beats East to split All-Star Series

The reward was a 3-2 five-set win over the East at the North Dakota Optimist North Dakota High School Coaches Associations All-Star volleyball match on Tuesday at Bismarck Century High School.
A.J. Jacobs, who played her high school career at Century, led the West with 11 kills, eight digs and three blocks.
Williston’s Jayden Lynch, who was named outstanding player, posted 45 assists, 15 digs and three kills. Stanley’s Jasmin Pappa added 11 kills for the West, while Ellie Gillund supplied five.
McKenzie Hart led the East with nine kills, followed Paige Weston with four, while Allison Barta and Emily Thompson each had three.
Dickinson’s Madison Deibert, who will be playing at Bismarck State College this fall, tallied three kills, 10 digs and an ace for the West.
