Roughriders’ games in Omaha washed out

OMAHA, Neb. — The Dickinson Roughriders American Legion baseball team had both their games canceled because of rain Saturday at the Battle of Omaha Tournament.

The Roughriders were scheduled to play Shawnee (Kan.) Mission East and Valparaiso, Neb. Because it lost both of their games Friday, Dickinson’s tournament is over.

The Roughriders host the Grand Forks Royals at 5 p.m. Wednesday at Southside Municipal Ballpark.
