Hybrid chicken hatched by a duck

4-H Club member Anton Krebs holds his showmanship chicken, a breed he calls faraucana, a mix between a salmon faverolle and an araucana. The chicken was hatched by a duck on the family farm near Belfield. Krebs was participating in the 4-H poultry/rabbit show at the DSU Indoor Arena with several entries Wednesday morning as part of Roughrider Days Fair and Expo in Dickinson. There are more Roughrider Days events today, including 4-H livestock judging at DSU Indoor Arena and Party on the Pavement downtown.
