The cause of a grass fire Friday evening is still under investigation.
Dickinson Rural Fire Department Chief Andy Paulson said the fire department and the Stark County Sheriff’s Office were called out between 6 p.m. and 7 p.m. Friday to a grass fire at 116th Avenue, about a mile south of Highway 10 by the railroad tracks.
Paulson said it took about 10 minutes to extinguish the fire and no one was hurt.
He said there was no probable cause and the only damage was to a fence post that burned up.
