A Tuesday incident seven miles north of Belfield is under control, but the Billings County Sheriff’s Department will not release much information about what happened over a12-hour period.
All parties are accounted for, Chief Deputy Pat Rummel said, adding the Bureau of Criminal Investigation is reviewing the case. He would not comment on what happened or who was involved.
“Until the Attorney General’s office, the BCI, gets done with the criminal investigation, we can’t really say too much about it,” he said.
The public is not in danger and the person at the residence was not involved, he added.
