3 residents from Bowman injured in fiery crash

Three people from Bowman were injured in a one-vehicle accident in Bowman County early Wednesday morning after the speeding driver lost control of the car, which went into a ditch, hit an approach, went airborne, landed, rolled and caught fire, according to a North Dakota Highway Patrol press release.

Rescue workers took the male driver and male passengers to the Bowman Hospital, but due to the extent of their injuries they were each flown to different hospitals.

The men were thrown from the vehicle and it did not appear they were wearing seatbelts, according to the release.

The HP has not released their names and ages. Charges are pending.
