Brooklyn Cyclones teammates Frenzel, Mateo named NYPL Players of the Week

Cole Frenzel and Luis Mateo were named New York-Penn League Players of the Week.

Cole Frenzel and Luis Mateo were named New York-Penn League Players of the Week.

Frenzel, a Dickinson High graduate, has a .412 batting average, .492 on-base and slugging .569 in 51 at-bats for the Class A short-season Brooklyn Cyclones.

Teammate Mateo has a 3-0 record with a .51 earned run average and 22 strikeouts. Mateo has only given up two walks in 17 1/3 innings.
