A Dickinson lawyer has been suspended from practice for six months and one day.
Camille Hann of Hann Law PLLC had her licenses suspended by the Supreme Court of North Dakota in response to a Disciplinary Board hearing that recommended a one year suspension.
The hearing took place Thursday and the results were made available on the North Dakota Supreme Court website Friday.
Hann’s license was suspended for allegedly holding nonrefundable retainers and for allegedly advising a client to hide assets in a divorce.
In addition to her suspension, Hann will have to pay $7,010 to cover the costs of the proceeding.
Hann was contacted by The Press but had no comment.
