Grace Bittner, 2 1/2, and her mom, Andrea Bittner of Dickinson, ride in a pink fire truck, departing from the Dickinson Fire Department on Friday morning. The 1989 truck was recently restored by the North Dakota Chapter of the Guardians of the Ribbon. The organization of firefighters was formed to create awareness of women who have experienced cancer. The fire truck, which was named Miss Vivian, spent several hours in Dickinson to allow cancer survivors time to sign the sides of the vehicle. The truck, driven by Brandon Hass and Carol Hanson, was headed to Williston for a Relay for Life event.
