Golf Digest ranks 3 ND courses among ‘most fun’

BISMARCK — A national golf magazine says three North Dakota golf courses are among the nation’s most fun places to do some hacking.

The Links of North Dakota, Bully Pulpit Golf Course and Hawktree Golf Club are featured in the September issue of Golf Digest.

The magazine listed 50 private and 50 public courses for a feature on the nation’s “most fun” courses. The story used the opinions of about a thousand golf enthusiasts to compile the list.

The Links is about 28 miles northeast of Williston, near Ray. Bully Pulpit is south of Medora. Hawktree is about five miles north of Bismarck.

Bully Pulpit general manager Dave Solga says his course caters to all levels of golf skill, and comes with some spectacular Badlands scenery.
