Crews from the Dickinson Rural Fire Department and the Stark County Sheriff’s Office work to put out a 35-40 acre grass fire southeast of Dickinson on Monday. The cause of the fire was unknown at press time, as was the time crews, who were called out at 6:15 p.m., would finish, DRFD Chief Andy Paulson said. There were no damaged buildings or injuries to humans or animals. There were houses on the other side of the Heart River, and fire crews were able to stop the fire from spreading to them.
