Killdeer’s Wagner named captain of U-Mary football team
BISMARCK — Killdeer High School graduate Mike Wagner has been named one of four captains for the 2012 University of Mary football team.
BISMARCK — Killdeer High School graduate Mike Wagner has been named one of four captains for the 2012 University of Mary football team.
Wagner, a starting safety, started a handful of games last year when he recorded 22 tackles — including 15 solo stops — and had one interception.
Senior tight end Bryan Sandy of Harvey, junior quarterback Craig Bagnell of Polson, Mont., and junior defensive end John Oyloe of Williston, will share the team leadership roles with Wagner.
The Marauders open the regular season at noon Saturday at Concordia-St. Paul.
