Dickinson's final 2012 street dance tonight
The every-Thursday night, summer-long street festival, Alive @ 5, will close its 2012 season at 5 tonight with numerous vendors, food, prizes and more.
The every-Thursday night, summer-long street festival, Alive @ 5, will close its 2012 season at 5 tonight with numerous vendors, food, prizes and more.
Alive @ 5 will again feature live music, barbecue, wines, frosty brews, other assorted beverages, face painting, a farmers’ market, new cars from Dan Porter Motors, other vendors and now another feature: BACK @ SCHOOL NIGHT 2012.
All are invited to the free event and tonight is also a welcome to college and high school students.
The contemporary country music of Outlaw Sippin’, a regional band, and the dancing of Burn the Floor dance studio will be
featured.
“This will be an extraordinary event for people of all ages and a great way to close out the summer,” said Kevin Holten, president of the Odd Fellows Lodge, which is the event organizer.
Alive @ 5 is between First Street and Villard, on First Avenue West.
