Bagnell, Steffan lead U-Mary past Augie

BISMARCK — Craig Bagnell had a career game and Tyler Steffan helped him get there as the University of Mary beat Augustana on Saturday afternoon in a Northern Sun Intercollegiate Conference game.

Bagnell, a junior from Polson, Mont., threw for a career-high 407 yards and four touchdowns as Mary beat Augustana 31-25 at the Bismarck Community Bowl.

Steffan, a senior receiver from Dickinson, had 154 yards receiving and two touchdowns on 10 catches. He became just the fourth U-Mary receiver to crack 2,000 career receiving yards. He now has 2,105.
