Rick Berg was raised in Hettinger working cattle and baling hay on the family farm.
After graduating from North Dakota State University, Berg worked with then-Gov. John Hoeven to balance North Dakota’s budget and implement common-sense policies that helped North Dakota lead the nation in job growth and achieve the lowest unemployment rate in the country.
Berg is running for the Senate to stop the failed Washington policies that are driving our country deeper into debt and to bring the North Dakota way to the Senate. There is a clear choice for voters this election.
Berg will continue to fight back against President Barack Obama’s agenda of debt and decline, while his opponent, Heidi Heitkamp, will continue to campaign for Obama, endorse Obamacare and will further support the Obama agenda.
That’s why this November is so important. Berg has voted repeatedly to repeal, dismantle or defund Obamacare, but Harry Reid and the Democrat-controlled Senate continue to block its efforts.
It’s imperative to gain control of the U.S. Senate, save our country and get back on track. The only way we can do this is by electing a Republican majority in the Senate.
