Midgets struggle at West Fargo Invite
WEST FARGO — The Dickinson High boys tennis team had a tough go of the West Fargo Invitational on Saturday.
WEST FARGO — The Dickinson High boys tennis team had a tough go of the West Fargo Invitational on Saturday.
Hunter Jerome, the Midgets’ senior captain, won the lone match in the first flight in a default against No. 6 singles player Ben Wanner from Mandan.
Jerome lost out in his quarterfinal match in the consolation bracket to Fargo Davies’ Marcus Osman, 8-0.
Dickinson, along with Williston, Jamestown, Valley City and Wahpeton, all recorded zero points at the invite. Grand Forks Red River won tournament.
Dickinson also played Davies on Friday and were swept 9-0. The Midgets continue their season by hosting Williston at 3 p.m. Thursday.
