Wilson McLaughlin and Kathie Carlson help Ben Carlson release balloons outside of Lincoln Elementary School in honor of his uncle and her son, Chris Carlson.

Wilson McLaughlin and Kathie Carlson help Ben Carlson release balloons outside of Lincoln Elementary School in honor of his uncle and her son, Chris Carlson. September is National Suicide Prevention Awareness Month and McLaughlin thought that the balloons would be a good way to pay tribute to Chris Carlson and bring awareness to the way he passed away. The group also planted a tree in Chris Carlson’s honor at the school where his mother works.
