The Dickinson High sophomore rallied from one set down to defeat Williston’s Adam Kemp 4-6, 6-2, 6-2 in No. 2 singles on Thursday at DHS tennis courts.
Priebe won the Dickinson High boys tennis team’s lone match as the Coyotes won the West Region dual 8-1.
Despite Priebe winning the only match, the Midgets had a couple close second sets, including No. 6 singles where Johnathon Griffith lost to Tate Burbut 6-2, 7-5.
Dickinson senior captain Hunter Jerome and Priebe teamed in No. 1 doubles to give Tracer Overlund and Kemp a run for their money. The No. 1 doubles duo lost a nail biter 6-2, 7-5.
In No. 5 singles, Williston’s Tyler Hermanson defeated Tyus Praus 6-3, 6-3 in a solid match.
The Midgets travel to face West Region opponent Jamestown at noon on Saturday.
