A gun was fired during a Friday night fight in South Heart and several charges may come from the incident, Stark County State’s Attorney Tom Henning said.
A fight broke out before midnight at the I Don’t Know Bar and the Stark County Sheriff’s Office was called to the scene, Sheriff Clarence Tuhy said.
Dickinson Police Department was called to assist, Capt. Dave Wilkie said.
While details of the incident are murky, it has been confirmed that a firearm was discharged, Henning said. It is unknown how many times.
There were no injuries from the discharge but there were scrapes and bruises from the fighting. The bulk of the fighting took place outdoors and did not damage the building.
No names were released Monday.
There was no one available for comment from I Don’t Know Bar Monday morning.
The incident is under investigation.
