U-Mary’s Wolf places 4th at Griak, DSU men 19th
ST. PAUL, Minn. — Dickinson High School graduate Dakota Wolf finished fourth on Saturday in the Division II women’s race at the Roy Griak Invitational cross country meet at Les Bolstad Golf Course.
ST. PAUL, Minn. — Dickinson High School graduate Dakota Wolf finished fourth on Saturday in the Division II women’s race at the Roy Griak Invitational cross country meet at Les Bolstad Golf Course.
Wolf ran a time of 22 minutes, 22 seconds for the University of Mary. Her teammate, Melissa Agnew, was second with a time of 22:03.
Dickinson State had three women runners. Brittany Young led the Blue Hawk women in 96th (24:31), while Stormie Sickler placed 311th (27:07) and Breezy Boldon was 330th (27:27).
DSU’s men placed 19th out of 36 teams. Freshman David Alvarado led the Blue Hawks in 59th place.
Alvarado finished with a time of 27:01. Denis Patrick took 77th (27:13).
DSU also had freshman Dante Carter in 105th (27:38), junior Dustin Sandbak in 112th (27:43) and sophomore Eddie Meneses in 125th (27:57).
Colorado State-Colorado Springs won the men’s and women’s team title.
In the Larry Zirgibel high school boys race, Bismarck High senior Jake Leingang took first place with a time of 15:43. The Demons finished second as a team.
