Missing Dickinson High School student found by Golden Valley Sheriff's Department

Authorities located Dickinson High School student Atlannta Conitz Thursday in Beach.

Conitz was found safe and sound by the Golden Valley Sheriff’s Department at about 2:15 p.m., Dickinson Police Capt. David Wilkie said.

“She was located safe and uninjured less than 24 hours from when she was reported missing,” Wilkie said. “We received some good tips through calls and comments on our Facebook page.”

Conitz, 17, was reported missing Wednesday after failing to return to the DHS grounds following her lunch hour. Conitz was thought to possibly be in the company of Dillon Roesch, although Wilkie said the circumstances of how Conitz got to Beach were unknown.

The DPD is continuing to investigate and charges could be filed in the case, Wilkie said.
