FARGO — Abby Grove had 29 kills in three two-set matches as Dickinson High won two and lost one Friday in pool play at the Scheels Invitational.
FARGO — Abby Grove had 29 kills in three two-set matches as Dickinson High won two and lost one Friday in pool play at the Scheels Invitational.
Dickinson beat Valley City 25-16, 25-17 and Mandan 25-22, 25-18 while losing to Fargo Davies 25-19, 25-21.
“Davies is a good team and we tried a whole new rotation today and I thought the kids responded pretty well,” Dickinson head coach Jay Schobinger said. “We actually played Davies pretty tough.”
Taylor Cooper had 12 kills and two blocks. Ali Moody had 56 assists, 26 digs and five aces.
Dickinson plays Williston at 10:45 a.m. CDT Saturday in the Silver Bracket quarterfinals.
