Bowman County commissioners approve budget for fiscal year

Bownman County Commissioners on Thursday voted to approve a budget for the 2013 fiscal year.
Commissioners approved a budget similar to the original one proposed at a public hearing Oct. 2. The new budget totals $1.29 million and leaves off an estimated $107,350 for the county’s general fund, said Bowman County Auditor Sandi Tivis. The 2013 tax levy will be an increase of about 11 percent.
