DSU senior Matt Lee named to all-Frontier preseason team

Dickinson State senior Matt Lee was chosen one of five players named the preseason all-Frontier Conference men’s basketball team on Tuesday.

Lee, a 6-foot-6 senior forward from Ogden, Utah, is a two-time NAIA All-America honorable mention selection and averaged 12.1 points and 8.4 rebounds per game last season.

In his career at DSU, Lee has averaged 12.1 points and 7.9 rebounds per game. He is 14 points away from 1,000 for his career.

Westminster College senior forward Jake Orchard is the men’s preseason player of the year.

Westminster College senior guard Nicole Yazzi and Montana Western senior center Hayley Pettit shared the women’s preseason player of the year award.
