Heart River, Hazen take No. 3, No. 4 spots in Class 1A poll

Heart River moved to the No. 3 spot in the Class 1A poll after defeating Richardton-Taylor-Hebron 47-0 last Friday.

Heart River moved to the No. 3 spot in the Class 1A poll after defeating Richardton-Taylor-Hebron 47-0 last Friday.

The Cougars (6-1) moved up one position and grander 36 points, while Stanley-Powers Lake (7-0) stayed at the No. 1 spot with all 13 first-place votes. Hazen (5-2) also jumped one spot from fifth to fourth.

Divide County (8-0) overtook the No. 1 spot in the 9-man poll with 10 first-place votes. North Star, the former No. 1-ranked team, dropped to fifth after losing 34-6 to Towner-Granville-Upham.
