Man dies in southeast North Dakota tractor fire

LITCHVILLE, N.D. (AP) — A weekend tractor fire in southeastern North Dakota's Barnes County killed an 87-year-old rural Litchville man.

LITCHVILLE, N.D. (AP) — A weekend tractor fire in southeastern North Dakota's Barnes County killed an 87-year-old rural Litchville man.

Sheriff Randy McClaflin tells KOVC radio that Wesley Ten Pas was burning a slough Saturday when the flames grew out of control and burned the tractor he was driving.

Ten Pas was taken to a Minneapolis burn hospital, where he died.
