Sen. Kent Conrad says his brother has died
WASHINGTON (AP) — Sen. Kent Conrad of North Dakota said that his older brother, Roan Conrad, has died.
WASHINGTON (AP) — Sen. Kent Conrad of North Dakota said that his older brother, Roan Conrad, has died.
In a brief statement, the Democratic senator said his brother died Saturday in New York at the age of 72.
Conrad said his brother fought a courageous battle with cancer.
In the statement, Conrad said: “We are relieved that his pain has ended. He was a brilliant, brave and loving brother and family member. He will be missed.”
