DSU’s Ismail named Frontier runner of week
WHITEFISH, Mont. — Dickinson State junior Abdi Ismail was named the Frontier Conference men’s cross country runner of the week on Tuesday.
WHITEFISH, Mont. — Dickinson State junior Abdi Ismail was named the Frontier Conference men’s cross country runner of the week on Tuesday.
Ismail won the Mount Marty Invitational 8K race with a time of 25 minutes, 46 seconds and helped DSU win the team portion of the event.
The Blue Hawks are ranked No. 22 in the NAIA but will likely move up in the newest ratings that come out today. They are second in the Frontier Conference behind Lewis-Clark State.
DSU junior Brittany Young was named the Frontier women’s cross country runner of the week on Monday.
