Letter: Pam Gulleson always looks forward

Living and working in North Dakota, I’ve come to know and understand the value we place on our young people.

The long-term plans we make in our state in education and the development of our youth is part of what makes us strong. Pam Gulleson knows better than most that investing in our young people, means we’re investing in a stronger future for our state.

Gulleson just doesn’t have a rearview mirror. She’s always looking forward. She helped U.S. Sen. Byron Dorgan start the Red River Valley Research Corridor, which has turned University of North Dakota and North Dakota State University into two of the top research universities in the country.

As a legislator, she wrote the bill for the Research and Development tax credit that has stimulated private sector investment into the technologies that are driving our oil boom and bringing unmanned aerial systems to North Dakota.

And as a farmer and a rancher, she knows the importance of planning generationally. She knows that innovation and big ideas are what it is going to take to move America forward. Gulleson has the passion and the work ethic to fight for the continued growth of North Dakota and the United States. She knows our best days are still ahead.

I’m voting for Gulleson for U.S. House and I hope that you will do the same.
