As I’ve previously stated there are very critical decisions to be made in our choice for president of the United States. This also holds true in our choices for U.S. Senate and U.S. House.
Another critical choice to be made is Measure 3. Not only does it guarantee farmers the right to use whatever practices they feel necessary, modern or whatever, one of the big things this measure is designed to do is to prevent any and all animal rights and environmental groups from trying to enact any or all legislation to curtail or shut down any type of production agriculture — particularly any animal (livestock) agriculture.
A yes vote on Measure 3 is desperately needed because these well-financed left wing radical groups are moving into North Dakota and are becoming incredibility powerful.
This is not only a concern for farmers and ranchers, but for every citizen of North Dakota. Our nation’s food supply and our state’s economy depend on it. Vote yes on Measure 3.
Measure 5 is a good example of what I am talking about concerning Measure 3. Measure 5 is totally unnecessary and ridiculous. There are already laws that deal adequately with animal abuse.
It’s opposed by veterinarians and livestock groups. Measure 5 is supported by such radical groups as People for the Ethical Treatment of Animals, Sierra Club, etc.
Supporters of measures such as this place more value on animals than human beings. They likely support abortion, euthanasia of the elderly and same sex marriage
Let’s maintain our sanity. Vote no on Measure 5. I like animals also.
Above all, please get out and vote!
