DSU steals a set, can’t stop Lewis-Clark

LEWISTON, Idaho — Dickinson State stole the first set against Lewis-Clark State on Thursday night.

LEWISTON, Idaho — Dickinson State stole the first set against Lewis-Clark State on Thursday night.

That was all the Warriors would stand for as they went on to beat the Blue Hawks 23-25, 25-12, 25-12, 25-12 in a Frontier Conference volleyball match.

Lewis-Clark (13-9, 9-3 Frontier) had a .364 team hitting percentage as Niurka Toribio had team highs of 17 kills and 19 digs. Five Warrior players had double figures in kills.

Kelly O’Connor led DSU (3-19, 0-11 Frontier) with six kills. Sarah Zeibig and Ebony Sanders each had five kills as the Blue Hawks lost their sixth consecutive match.
