I was incredibly disappointed but not a bit surprised, to see that Forum Communications endorsed Jack Dalrymple for the office of governor.
This endorsement and their praise of Dalrymple’s proactive leadership prove to me that once again they are following their political bias rather than the facts.
Dalrymple is an un-elected incumbent who happens to be in office when our state’s god-given natural resources have provided us with a budget surplus.
I would challenge the Forum to ask a family in Williston who has been evicted from the home because of sky-rocketing rent if the governor’s leadership is enough for them. Or a parent in Fargo whose child cannot enroll in head start because of a lack of availability caused by zero state investment in the program.
North Dakota is in a fortunate position but we need a leader who has the vision to make this surplus work for all North Dakotans.
No matter what the Forum says or doesn’t say, Ryan Taylor is that leader and he has my vote on Nov. 6.
