GRAFTON, N.D. (AP) — Local and state leaders attended a ribbon-cutting ceremony for a new housing development for workers building pipeline to go to North Dakota's booming Oil Patch.
GRAFTON, N.D. (AP) — Local and state leaders attended a ribbon-cutting ceremony for a new housing development for workers building pipeline to go to North Dakota's booming Oil Patch.
Among the leaders who attended the Monday ceremony for Diverse Energy Systems new employee housing development was Sen. John Hoeven, North Dakota Gov. Jack Dalrymple, Grafton Mayor Chris West and officials from the company.
The housing development, called DiverCity, consists of 10 duplex units on 3.5 acres of land on the north side of Grafton. It's designed to provide transitional housing for workers until they can find more permanent accommodations.
Diverse Energy Systems builds and services systems for the oil and gas industry in the Bakken. It employs 85 people.
