BISMARCK, N.D. (AP) — A North Dakota man faces a felony sex charge after police reportedly found him having sex with a 14-year-old girl in an apartment building hallway.
BISMARCK, N.D. (AP) — A North Dakota man faces a felony sex charge after police reportedly found him having sex with a 14-year-old girl in an apartment building hallway.
The 19-year-old Christopher Vandermeer has been charged with gross sexual imposition. His bond was set at $5,000 cash during a court hearing Monday.
Bismarck Police Sgt. Mark Buschena said a woman in the building called police early Sunday morning and reported that it sounded like two people were having sex in the hallway.
South Central District Judge Bruce Haskell also ordered Vandermeer, of Bismarck, not to have contact with the 14-year-old girl.
Vandermeer requested a court-appointed attorney.
A phone listing for Vandermeer could not immediately be located.
